Planes of War

  how does a man not understand
  when will he ever be wise
  flying high where does he land
  just to be right he never tries
  the button touched in the skies
  run you people don't pretend
  it just goes on my friend
  
  just another city burning nigh
  another highway now erased
   the souls piling high
  some joining ashen graves
  little children no one saves
  the fighting soldiers fair
  but no one seems to care
  
  half the planet about to end
  half the planet in denial
  just take a stand my friend

  a glint in the sky overhead
  a major bang down below
  just another family dead
  oh what and where to go
  no way but to quickly flow
  some one elses problem be
  or to disappear out at sea
  
  would all humanity rejoice
  should guns and drones fall silent
  would christian value have a voice
  could we stop this killing bent
   or are our senses some how spent
  have we lost our will for peace
  just another man to the crease
  
  do not what they say or tend
  to your demise and grave
  just take a stand my friend
